D’Tigress Begin World Cup Qualifiers with Dominant Win Over Colombia
African champions, Nigeria’s D’Tigress made a powerful statement in their opening match at the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup Qualifiers, defeating Colombia 70–37 in a commanding performance.

They set the tone early, finishing the first quarter with an 18–12 advantage. Colombia responded with improved play in the second quarter, briefly challenging Nigeria’s momentum, but D’Tigress quickly regained control after the break.
