Avalon Industrial Park Chairman Donates Borehole, Empowerment Items to Ogun Community
Residents of Ogboloko Village in the Agodo/Mosunmore communities of Obafemi Owode Local Government Area, Ogun State, have received humanitarian support from the Chairman of Avalon Industrial Park Limited, His Royal Highness Oba James Obafemi Saliu.
The intervention, carried out on Thursday, January 29, was aimed at improving the living conditions of residents while promoting community development and economic empowerment.
As part of the initiative, several items were donated to the community, including a borehole, tricycles, solar-powered street lights, grinding machines, sewing machines, bags of rice, cartons of noodles and other welfare materials.
The items, according to the organisers, were selected to help residents improve their livelihoods, encourage self-reliance, and enhance overall welfare within the village.
Speaking during the event, Oba Saliu reiterated Avalon Industrial Park’s commitment to the long-term development of communities hosting its operations. He assured residents that additional projects and support programmes are being planned for Ogboloko Village.
He also noted that similar empowerment initiatives and support efforts would be extended to other host communities within the Mosunmore and Agodo areas.
Community leaders, including the Baales, as well as beneficiaries of the donations, expressed gratitude for the support. They described the chairman as a royal figure and industrial leader whose generosity and commitment to community welfare continue to bring meaningful improvements to the lives of residents.
