President Bola Tinubu and First Lady, Remi Tinubu have paid glowing tribute to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adeboye, as he marked his 84th birthday.

In a joint tribute released on Sunday by the State House, the President and First Lady praised Adeboye, fondly called Daddy G.O., as “a spiritual fortress, interceding for Nigeria and its people to God Almighty.

The presidential couple commended the cleric’s decades of steadfast spiritual leadership, noting that his life has been marked by humility, discipline, and total devotion to the service of God and humanity.

They acknowledged his enduring role as a moral compass and prayer intercessor for the nation, describing his influence as one that transcends the pulpit and extends into national development and social impact.

Under Adeboye’s leadership, the Redeemed Christian Church of God has grown into one of the world’s largest Pentecostal denominations, with a presence in over 190 countries.

The church’s initiatives in education, healthcare, and humanitarian outreach were also highlighted in the tribute.
