Portable Dismisses ₦50m Boxing Offer to Fight Carter Efe

By 𝔸bdulrazak Tomiwa

Singer, Portable has rejected a ₦50 million offer from music executive Soso Soberekon to box streamer, Carter Efe. While Carter Efe immediately accepted the challenge during a livestream, Portable dismissed the sum as insufficient for a star of his caliber.

The artist argued that the current prize doesn’t match the entertainment value he provides. He has significantly raised the stakes, demanding a massive payout and a luxury asset before he agrees to step back into the ring for another celebrity bout.

Demanding a higher valuation, Portable stated, “Soso, ₦50 million is too little. Give me ₦50 million plus a car worth ₦300 million, totaling ₦350 million and I will beat Carter Efe mercilessly.”

Portable expressed total confidence in his fighting skills, reminding promoters of his history in the ring. He views the match against Carter Efe as an easy victory that warrants an elite, multi-million naira compensation package.

To justify his price tag, the singer boasted about his previous high-profile wins. He asserted his dominance in the celebrity boxing scene, stating,“I am the same guy who beat Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington.”

The match remains in limbo as fans wait to see if promoters will meet Portable’s ₦350 million demand. Until the financial gap is bridged, the “Zazuu” star refuses to fight, leaving Carter Efe waiting for a confirmed date.
