Troops Nab Gunrunner, Seize Ammo Cache in Taraba

Troops of the 6 Brigade have arrested a notorious gunrunner in Taraba State following a targeted intelligence-led operation.
The suspect was intercepted while attempting to move illegal arms through the region.
The raid yielded a significant haul of weaponry, including several sophisticated rifles. This operation is part of an intensified military crackdown on criminal networks driving insecurity in the North-East.
Security forces also recovered 969 rounds of live ammunition destined for bandits. The seizure is expected to severely disrupt the firepower and operational reach of local criminal groups.
The Army identified the suspect as a primary supplier for violent activities across the state. His capture is a major breakthrough in dismantling the supply chains that sustain regional insurgency.
