President Bola Tinubu has praised Governor Ahmadu Fintiri for his visionary leadership and commitment to development.

During his first official visit to Adamawa, the President expressed satisfaction with several multi-billion naira projects he commissioned across the state capital.

The visit featured the opening of the Yola Model School, a massive eight-lane flyover, and a dualized carriage way. Tinubu also laid the foundation for a new NYSC orientation camp and inaugurated the remodeled Government House, noting the high quality of the modern designs.

The President emphasized that these infrastructure and educational investments are vital weapons against poverty and insecurity. He described the governor’s work as a source of “renewed hope” and urged other leaders to prioritize projects that benefit future generations.

Governor Fintiri disclosed that the model school cost ₦24.8 billion, while the major road and flyover works totaled ₦15.6 billion. He noted that the President’s presence serves as a major motivation to continue delivering transformative projects for his people.

Fintiri further declared his full support for the President’s national reforms, encouraging him to stay courageous in his decision-making. He assured Tinubu that Adamawa remains a steadfast partner in the journey toward national stability and economic growth.

Impressed by the state’s transformation, President Tinubu stated, “You will leave Adamawa state far better than the way you met it. You shocked me with what I saw and commissioned today. The schools you build are weapons of fighting poverty, insecurity and boosting the economy.”
