By 𝔸bdulrazak Tomiwa

The APC has declared its mission to reclaim all six area councils in the Federal Capital Territory.

Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu announced that the party will use intensive door-to-door mobilization for the February 21 polls.

A 138-member campaign council, chaired by Kwara Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, was inaugurated on Friday. The team aims to unify diverse ethnic groups in Abuja behind the party’s candidates.

Kalu specifically reached out to the Igbo community, highlighting their representation in the current administration. He noted that his role as Deputy Speaker shows they are no longer alienated from power.

The party plans to leverage visible infrastructure projects as evidence of its performance. Kalu praised FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for making governance felt at the grassroots level across the territory.

National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda confirmed that APC governors are already campaigning in various communities. He expressed strong confidence that this inclusive strategy will secure a total victory.

Describing the party’s relentless outreach, Benjamin Kalu stated, “We will be on the streets. We will be in every household. We will go door to door, business to business, to sell the message of APC.”
