Inaugural “Valentine’s Day Massacre” Boxing Event Set for Bariga

The first-ever boxing event titled “Valentine’s Day Massacre” is scheduled for February 14, 2026, at the Bariga Stadium, CMS Primary School, organizers announced.

The event, promoted by Firo Boxing Promotion, aims to celebrate local talent and give back to the community. Chief host Tijani Adedamola Taofeek described the event as “mind-blowing and history-making,” noting that Bariga is rich in boxing talent among its youth.

Nine bouts have been lined up for the evening, featuring matchups such as Oluwatosin Adeshina vs. Akeem Adewale, Kabiru Towolawi vs. Sunday Abuse, Taiwo Olowu vs. Modric Adeshina, and Bolatito Oluwole vs. Aminat Yekini. Other scheduled fights include Lekan Muibi vs. Justin Hounkpebi, Abudul-afeez Osoba vs. Hamza Idris, Adegoke Hammed vs. Afeez Enroll, Emmanuel Abimbola vs. Nurudeen Iyiola, and Sulaimon Habeeb vs. Fatai Bello.

Organizers confirmed that the event will begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, promising fans an exciting night of boxing action.
