Wike Warns Governors Backing Fubara: You’ll Reap What You Sow

 

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned Nigerian political leaders, particularly second-term governors and federal lawmakers, cautioning that those supporting what he described as political betrayal would eventually face similar consequences.

  Wike spoke in Port Harcourt during the commissioning of the Rivers State chapter headquarters of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, where he addressed ongoing political tensions linked to his rift with Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.   The former Rivers governor said politicians who align with individuals he considers disloyal should expect betrayal in return.   “Whoever you are, senator, House of Representatives member, minister, or governor, if you support betrayers, people will continue to betray you in life,” he said.   He warned that such actions could have serious political and personal consequences, stressing that those backing disloyalty may later
