NABTEB Announces Results of 2025 Nov/Dec NBC/NTC Exams

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has released the results for the 2025 November/December National Business Certificate (NBC) and National Technical Certificate (NTC) exams, including the advanced level certificates.

According to NABTEB, about 60% of candidates achieved five credits and above, including English and Mathematics, which is considered the minimum standard for further education and career progression.   This year, a total of 61,591 candidates registered nationwide, with 57,444 at the ordinary level and 4,147 at the advanced level, representing a 28% increase compared to the previous year.   The exams were conducted in 2,079 centres, marking a nearly 14% rise in available examination locations.   Performance varied across different trade categories. Construction and Engineering trades recorded the highest pass rates, while Business trades had a comparatively lower percentage of candidates meeting the five-credit benchmark.   NABTEB also reported that 259 candidates were caught in examination malpractice, a slight decline from last year, attributing the drop to improved monitoring and security measures.   Candidates are advised to check their individual results on the official NABTEB portal, and registration for the 2026 in-school NBC/NTC exams has already begun. NABTEB emphasized its ongoing commitment to strengthening technical and vocational education across Nigeria and equipping students with practical skills for the workforce.
