At least four people are feared dead following violent cult clashes across Lagos communities, including Iyana-Ipaja, Badore, and Onipanu. These incidents, occurring between last Wednesday and Monday, have left residents in tension as graphic images of the violence circulate online.

Specific fatalities include a man named Chidera in Badore and another identified as Israel, who was shot dead in Onipanu. Additional bodies were discovered at Satellite Town and Ibeju-Lekki, highlighting a bloody week of rival group confrontations across the state.

Digital evidence shows victims with severe machete wounds and life-threatening injuries. While some footage clearly depicts targeted attacks, authorities are still working to verify which specific incidents are directly linked to organized cult activity versus general crime.

The Lagos State Police Command has launched an investigation into the reports. While many local divisions have yet to confirm the specific clashes in their jurisdictions, security forces remain on high alert to prevent further retaliatory violence.

Confirming the fatality at Satellite Town, police spokesperson Abimbola Adebisi stated, “The receipt of these incidents from you yesterday prompted me to reach out to all the DPOs in charge of the locations you mentioned. None confirmed the incidents, except the one at Satellite Town, which was confirmed as a suspected murder. The case is under investigation and will be transferred to the SCID, Panti, as soon as possible.”
