‘I’m Not Your Father’, Davido Rejects Alleged Daughter’s DNA Appeal

Davido has publicly rejected a fresh plea for a DNA test from a 12-year-old girl, Mitchelle Anuoluwapo, who claims to be his biological daughter.

The singer addressed the situation on social media after the teenager shared an emotional video detailing the psychological toll and bullying she has endured due to the public uncertainty surrounding her paternity.

The controversy dates back years, involving the girl’s mother, Ayotomide Labinjo, who has long maintained that Davido is the father.

In her recent appeal, Mitchelle expressed a deep desire for closure, asking the singer to undergo one final, transparent test to end the speculation that has clouded her childhood.

Davido, however, responded with firm dismissal, stating that the matter has already been settled privately. He claimed to have undergone five different DNA tests in the past, all of which allegedly yielded negative results. He expressed frustration at the persistence of the claims, suggesting that the issue is being used for ulterior motives.

In his social media response, the singer was blunt, telling the young girl to “find her father” and stop associating herself with him. He emphasized that he has fulfilled his obligations to verify the claim multiple times and is no longer willing to engage with the family’s requests or the public outcry following their videos.

The situation has sparked a heated debate online, with some fans defending Davido’s right to privacy and his reliance on previous medical results.

Others, however, have expressed sympathy for the teenager, arguing that a final, independent test might be the only way to provide her with the definitive peace of mind she is seeking.
