Ford Suspends Worker Whom Trump Showed middle Finger, Says Union
During his visit to a Ford Motor Company plant in Michigan, President Donald Trump was involved in a viral confrontation with an autoworker named TJ Sabula.
As the President toured the River Rouge complex, Sabula shouted “pedophile protector” at him, a reference to the administration’s handling of files related to Jeffrey Epstein.
The exchange was captured on video and quickly spread across social media platforms.
In response to the heckling, President Trump was seen mouthing a profanity and twice raising his middle finger toward the worker before continuing his tour of the facility.
The White House later defended the President’s actions, with a spokesperson describing the response as an appropriate reaction to an aggressive heckler who was disrupting an official event.
Following the incident, Ford Motor Company confirmed that Sabula had been suspended pending an internal investigation into his conduct during the visit. The company emphasized its commitment to maintaining a professional environment, while Sabula maintained that he had “no regrets” for his actions, characterizing his suspension as a form of political retribution.
The United Auto Workers (UAW) union has stepped in to support Sabula, vowing to protect his rights and his employment status.
Meanwhile, a GoFundMe campaign launched on his behalf saw a massive surge in public support, raising over $150,000 within twenty-four hours to help cover his legal fees and lost wages during the suspension.
