BAT Ideological Group Appoints Arabinrin Aderonke as Director of Media and Publicity

The BAT Ideological Group has announced the appointment of Arabirin Aderonke Atoyebi, a seasoned journalist and media professional, as its Director of Media and Publicity.

Atoyebi brings nearly two decades of experience in journalism and strategic communication, earning a strong reputation for professionalism, credibility, and impactful storytelling. Her extensive media background is expected to significantly strengthen the Group’s communication strategy and public engagement efforts.

Her career spans editorial and reporting roles with prominent Nigerian media platforms, including The Sun Newspaper, Director of marketing, the Nigeria Premier League, and Naij Media Limited, Nigeria where she covered national affairs and sports. Over the years, her work has been widely recognised for depth, accuracy, and commitment to journalistic excellence.

Beyond journalism, Atoyebi is a dedicated advocate for youth development, gender equality, and sports-for-development initiatives.

She is the Founder and Executive Director of FAME Foundation, a non-profit organisation focused on empowering girls and young women through education, sports, and life-skills programmes. Her leadership in this sector has attracted international recognition, including being named the International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA) Role Model of the Year for her efforts in promoting inclusion through sport.

Academically and professionally, Atoyebi is grounded in peace studies, conflict resolution, and policy analysis. She has also undertaken advanced executive training at globally respected institutions, including Harvard Business School and the University of Cambridge.

The BAT Ideological Group expressed confidence that her experience, leadership capacity, and strategic communication skills will provide strong support for the Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2027 agenda and beyond, particularly in fostering informed public discourse and effective media engagement.
