Sani Calls for Equal Travel Rights for Nigerians to U.S.
Former lawmaker Shehu Sani has urged the United States President Donald Trump to remove travel limits on Nigerians, saying true goodwill should come with freedom of movement.
He argued that people cannot be said to be valued while being denied access to the country claiming to protect them.
In a post shared on X, Sani said love or concern that comes with restrictions is not genuine. He added that if special consideration is being shown to white South Africans, Nigerians deserve the same treatment.
Sani also mentioned activist Omoyele Sowore, agreeing with his position on the issue and describing it as sensible and well thought out.
