Governor Fintiri Urges Unity, “Shared Humanity” at Christmas

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has called on Nigerians to prioritize their common humanity and the values that unite the nation. In a Christmas statement released on Wednesday via his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou.

 

The Governor emphasized that the holiday serves as a vital reminder of the ties that bind people together, regardless of tribe or religion.

 

Fintiri noted that for the Christian community, Christmas represents hope and salvation in a world seeking redemption. He suggested that global peace and progress depend on practicing the virtues reflected in the birth of Christ, most notably, unwavering love for one another.

 

The Governor urged citizens to look past religious and ethnic differences, stating, “This holy and festive season reminds us of our shared humanity and the common values that unite us.”

 

Fintiri’s message serves as a call to action for Nigerians to move toward a more harmonious society by embracing the spirit of the season through faithful practice of compassion and unity.
