Aweroro Sure Shooting Stars Will Overcome Remo Stars in Ibadan

Shooting Stars head coach, Nurudeen Aweroro, has expressed strong confidence that his team will secure victory over Remo Stars when both sides meet in Ibadan for their rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League fixture.

Speaking ahead of the match, Aweroro said he believes 3SC have regained momentum and are prepared to take full advantage of playing at home. His optimism follows the club’s recent win over El-Kanemi Warriors, a result that helped lift morale after a difficult spell of inconsistent performances.

The coach noted that the victory has restored belief in the squad and reinforced the team’s commitment to pushing higher up the NPFL table.

The encounter, set for the Lekan Salami Stadium, promises to be one of the standout games of the week. Despite Shooting Stars’ renewed confidence, the challenge remains significant.

Remo Stars are coming into the fixture as reigning league champions and have maintained a strong competitive edge this season. Their recent performances suggest they will not be an easy side to break down, even on away turf.

Still, Aweroro insists his players are ready to rise to the occasion. He highlighted the importance of support from the home crowd and stressed that the team’s preparation is tailored toward securing all three points in front of their fans.

The highly anticipated clash now carries added weight, with both sides eager to prove a point — Shooting Stars aiming to reaffirm their resurgence, and Remo Stars looking to extend their dominance in the league.
