BAT Ideological Group Celebrates Uzodinma’s New Appointment by President Tinubu

The BAT Ideological Group has congratulated Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, and pledged full support following his recent appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Director-General of Party Outreach, Engagement and Mobilisation.

In a congratulatory message signed by its Convener and National Coordinator, Bamidele Atoyebi, the group said the Governor’s new role aligns directly with its long-running advocacy efforts aimed at promoting the President’s policies and strengthening grassroots political mobilisation.

Atoyebi described the BAT Ideological Group as a committed movement rooted in the political ideology, values and vision of President Tinubu. He said members of the group regard the President as “an institution, a model of strategy, a selfless man, and a long-term visionary,” whose record should be defended against misinformation and shallow criticism.

He explained that the group, which is also a major member of the Tinubu Support Group formed before the 2023 general elections, had worked relentlessly to support Tinubu’s victory and has continued to engage in nationwide sensitisation.

According to him, the group donated a website to the Tinubu Support Group to aid coordination and has funded radio and television campaigns that highlight the administration’s achievements.

Atoyebi added that the group has been working to reconcile aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress and has drawn government attention to abandoned projects in areas where the party previously underperformed.

He cited the Rigasa electricity distribution project in Kaduna, which had stalled for over seven years but has now received renewed attention after the group’s intervention.

He also noted that the group has been educating communities on how to access programmes such as NELFUND and TIVET as part of its contribution to promoting the Renewed Hope agenda.

Atoyebi said Uzodimma’s new assignment aligns with the group’s core activities, assuring the Governor of its readiness to collaborate closely with him and involve all state coordinators in future engagements.

He wished the Governor success in the role and expressed confidence that their combined efforts would further strengthen the campaign for President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
