First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Invites Senators to Exclusive Dinner at Aso Rock
First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has extended an official invitation to all members of the Senate for a special dinner scheduled to hold at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, on Friday.
The announcement was made on Tuesday during a plenary session at the Senate building, where Senate President Godswill Akpabio read out a formal communication from the First Lady.
According to Akpabio, the dinner is part of ongoing efforts by the First Lady’s office to strengthen collaboration between the executive and legislative arms of government.
Although details about the agenda of the dinner were not disclosed, the invitation is seen as part of broader engagements under President Bola Tinubu’s administration to foster unity, dialogue, and cooperation among key government stakeholders.
Senators welcomed the invitation, with many describing it as an opportunity for deeper interaction beyond official legislative proceedings.
The event is expected to feature discussions on national issues, ongoing social investment programmes championed by the First Lady, and other areas of mutual interest.
The dinner will take place at the State House Banquet Hall, with all senators expected to attend.
