President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Saturday entered a prolonged closed-door security meeting at the Presidential Villa with key members of Nigeria’s security leadership, amid escalating nationwide security concerns.

The briefing, which lasted several hours, brought together senior figures including the Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Air Staff, Inspector-General of Police, and Director-General of the Department of State Services.

According to information confirmed from publicly available reports, the Director-General of the DSS, Tosin Adeola Ajayi, was among those who met with the President to present an updated assessment of the country’s security landscape.
