Terrorists Target Everyone, Don’t Discriminate by Faith, Says Olubadan to Trump

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, has countered the assertions made by President Donald Trump regarding an alleged genocide against Christians in Nigeria.

While receiving the President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Francis Wale Oke, the traditional ruler insisted that terrorists in the country do not distinguish between Muslims and Christians, viewing everyone as a potential victim.

In a statement signed by his Media Aide, Adeola Oloko, Oba Ladoja maintained that terrorists “see everybody as a prey,” making it imperative for all Nigerians to stand up and jointly fight terrorism to a standstill.

The Olubadan lamented that numerous lives have been lost and valuable properties destroyed, resulting in the displacement of multitudes of families, particularly women and children.

Addressing the gathering, Oba Ladoja specifically advised President Trump to “steer clear of Nigeria,” emphasizing his point about the terrorists’ non-discriminatory violence.

“I want to caution that terrorists don’t know the difference between Muslims and Christians. They see everybody as a prey, while they are the predator.”

The traditional ruler also used the opportunity to appeal to the PFN President, as a constituent part of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), to help “placate our Christian brethren” who are understandably aggrieved, assuring them that “these times will pass.”
