Otedola Doles Out ₦4 Billion to Complete Augustine University’s Engineering Faculty
 
																																		Business mogul and philanthropist, Femi Otedola, has pledged the sum of ₦4 billion to support the completion of the Faculty of Engineering at Augustine University, Ilara-Epe, Lagos State.
The announcement was made during the university’s recent convocation ceremony, where Otedola reaffirmed his commitment to advancing quality education and technological development in Nigeria According to reports, the ₦4 billion donation will fund the completion of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Block within the faculty, which includes modern classrooms, laboratories, and technical workshops designed to equip students with hands-on experience in engineering and applied sciences. Otedola, who also presented an initial cheque of ₦500 million to launch the project’s next phase, said his contribution is aimed at promoting excellence and innovation among young Nigerian engineers Speaking at the event, university officials expressed deep appreciation for Otedola’s continuous support, describing his gesture as a testament to his enduring commitment to educational growth in Nigeria. In previous years, he funded the initial construction phase of the faculty building, donated learning equipment, and contributed to student welfare programs.
