Come and Commission My Constituency Project, Natasha Invites Akpabio

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, has extended an invitation to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, to commission one of her newly completed constituency projects in Kogi State.

The invitation, confirmed on Thursday, has drawn wide attention in political circles, sparking speculation that both lawmakers may have reconciled after months of perceived tension within the Senate.

Senator Natasha, elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has been widely commended for her grassroots-driven projects across Kogi Central.

Her decision to invite Akpabio, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), is being interpreted by many as a gesture of unity and respect across party lines.

Although details of the specific project scheduled for commissioning have not been disclosed, sources close to the senator said preparations are underway to host the Senate President and other dignitaries in the state.

Political observers say the move could mark a thaw in relations between the two lawmakers, following earlier reports of disagreement during Senate plenary sessions.

If Akpabio honours the invitation, it would signal a significant step towards strengthening harmony and cooperation among members of the 10th Senate, regardless of party affiliations.

The commissioning is expected to take place in the coming days, with community leaders, government officials, and political associates expected to attend.
