NIMC Fortified Diaspora Enrolment Platform for Seamless Registration
The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has announced the successful enhancement of its diaspora enrolment platform, aimed at ensuring efficient service delivery and streamlined management of the National Identification Number (NIN) registration for citizens residing abroad.
In a statement released by its spokesperson, Kayode Adegoke, on Monday, August 11, NIMC declared that the upgrade, now complete, will offer a seamless, robust, more secure, and efficient NIN service experience for Nigerians living overseas.
“Consequently, NIMC Diaspora Front-End Partners (FEPs) have been integrated into the upgraded system, undergoing comprehensive training to equip them with the necessary expertise for the application and management of the new system effectively.
“All Diaspora FEPs are required to secure and activate their NIN enrolment licenses on the upgraded platform within the next forty-eight hours, enabling diaspora applicants to access enrolment services through compliant FEPs,” the statement conveyed.
The Commission extended its apologies for any inconvenience caused during the platform upgrade process, noting that a dedicated service team has been established to address all issues related to diaspora enrolment.
Diaspora applicants encountering difficulties with NIN enrolment are encouraged to contact the Commission via its official portal.
