I’m Ready for Iranian Peace Deal, This Is What I Do, I Make Deals, Boasts Trump

U.S. President, Donald J. Trump has declared that he is “ready” to strike a peace deal with Iran, signaling openness to renewed diplomatic engagement if Tehran shows willingness to cooperate.
Speaking during a press event on Monday, Trump said the time had come for a “new chapter” in relations with the Islamic Republic one built on pragmatism, economic relief, and mutual respect.
“This is all I do in my life I make deals!” Trump said, drawing applause from the crowd. “I think Iran will come along. They’ve been battered and bruised… they need some help. I’d love to take the sanctions off when they’re ready!”
The president, who has often touted his foreign policy record as one of strength through negotiation, said he believed the Iranian people were “ready for something better” after years of isolation and economic hardship.
“I think Iran is gonna be fine,” Trump continued. “I know so many Iranian people great, smart lawyers, engineers, academics. They took a big hit. Frankly, if we didn’t hit them on the nuclear, I don’t think we’d have this incredible deal.”
Trump was referring to the ongoing multilateral peace framework that has seen historic cooperation between former adversaries in the Middle East. “Every country has come together,” he said, pointing to growing signs of diplomatic realignment in the region.
While Trump did not specify the conditions under which he would lift U.S. sanctions, he made clear that Washington’s approach would combine firm deterrence with economic incentives.
Analysts say Trump’s remarks are the clearest indication yet that he envisions a broader regional peace plan that includes Iran — a move that could reshape the Middle East’s political and security landscape.
If realized, a Trump-brokered deal with Iran would mark one of the most dramatic diplomatic turnarounds in modern geopolitics, potentially following the pattern of his 2020 Abraham Accords that normalized relations between Israel and several Arab states.
For now, Trump’s message to Tehran was unmistakably simple: “We’re ready when you are.”
