APC Chieftain Predicts Party’s Victory in 2027, Lauds Women’s Role in Katsina

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Abdul’aziz Maituraka, has expressed confidence that the ruling party will retain power at all levels in the 2027 general elections.

Maituraka made the prediction on Sunday in Katsina during a meeting with youth groups, widows’ associations, former councillors, and other party supporters.

The APC stalwart, who serves as Special Assistant to the Deputy Senate President and Special Adviser to Governor Dikko Radda, said he was optimistic that President Bola Tinubu would secure re-election, while Radda would return as governor of Katsina State.

“Women contributed to the APC 2023 general elections’ victory. We encourage them to still do the same come 2027.

What APC did in Nigeria is widely visible to the citizens,” he said.

He urged women in Katsina to remain steadfast in their support for the party, describing them as “promise keepers” whose commitment was instrumental to APC’s success.

“Don’t be deceived by the opposition. APC should be supported by all women in Katsina State. Radda is the best choice for Katsina,” Maituraka said.

The APC chieftain also commended the Katsina State Government’s efforts in improving security and promoting grassroots development, noting that plans were underway to empower more women in business.

“The Katsina State Government had indeed played a significant role in taming insecurity. We have a good plan for the women to thrive in businesses,” he added.

Maituraka called on youths, women, and party loyalists to remain united ahead of the next general elections, stressing that their continued support would enable the APC to sustain its current development strides both in the state and across the country.
