Kabiru Masari on 65th Independence

As Nigerians elatedly celebrate 65 years of independence, I, Kabiru Masari express unalloyed joy at how far we have come as a country despite our challenges and diversity.

I am a firm believer in the broom principle which states that a strand of broom is easily broken but a bunch of broom is hardly broken. The important thing is that we are better and stronger together and every Nigerian of goodwill should positively contribute to ensuring the realisation of the dreams of our founding fathers.

Our faith in a collective Nigeria where everyone’s future is assured should remain unshaken moreso as the leadership of the country under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown strong capacity and commitment to returning the country to a path of progress with the Renewed Hope Agenda that is working beyond belief, I urge us to seize the moment and press ahead towards our goal.

This is a time that all Nigerians are being carried along with development and appointments spread across all political zones unlike before, so the spirit of divisiveness should die a natural death.

Education,.security, infrastructure, health, finance, economy are all receiving the Midas touch, so we should have faith in Nigeria as President Tinubu has brought back the coaches of our national derailment back on track, let’s move with it, achieve speed and catch up with the developed world which is the agenda.

Every scheme to draw us back by any political consideration should not only be thwarted but resisted.

Better days ahead are assured; happy independence anniversary to all Nigerians
