Nasarawa, Kaduna Citizens Have No Reason to Vote Against Tinubu in 2027, Says APC Chieftain

Nasarawa, Kaduna Citizens Have No Reason to Vote Against Tinubu in 2027, Says APC Chieftain

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will secure overwhelming support in Nasarawa State and across Nigeria in the 2027 general elections, citing ongoing development strides and rising public confidence in the administration.

Speaking on Sunday, the APC leader highlighted both physical and non-physical infrastructure delivered under the Tinubu-led government.

He pointed to achievements in health, education, and empowerment, insisting that such interventions, though less visible than roads or buildings, have had a transformative impact on citizens’ lives.

On industrial development, the official disclosed that the newly commissioned lithium processing plant under the Yamal Commission has a capacity of 6,000 twice the size of a similar facility inaugurated last year.

He described the project as a boost to Nigeria’s quest for economic diversification and industrial growth.

Responding to political questions on the 2027 polls, he dismissed concerns about opposition gains in Nasarawa, stressing that the state has never witnessed the level of development currently being implemented.

“The people of Nasarawa have no reason to vote against President Asuwa Jumbo-Lametenu in 2027. From empowerment to education and other key areas, the progress is unprecedented,” he said.

He further claimed that the political tide has turned in favour of the APC in southern Kaduna, an area previously considered difficult for the party to penetrate.

“By the grace of God, southern Kaduna has converted completely into APC. Any election going on in Kaduna today, APC will win it.

The recent by-election has vindicated our position,” he added.

The remarks reflect growing confidence among APC leaders that President Tinubu’s reform agenda and development initiatives will consolidate electoral support ahead of 2027.
