Ex-presidential Aspirant Urges Nigerians to End Bad Leadership with Votes

Former presidential aspirant under the Labour Party, Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, popularly known as Fadojoe, has called on Nigerians to use their votes as a weapon to end decades of bad leadership and enthrone a new generation of accountable leaders.

In a statement on Tuesday, Fadojoe stressed that the 2027 general elections present a critical opportunity for Nigerians to redirect the country from its current trajectory of poor governance, corruption, and economic hardship.

He said only the collective will of the people, expressed through the ballot, could bring about the much-needed change.

“The destiny of our nation lies in our hands. If we truly desire progress, development, and a better life for the ordinary Nigerian, then we must rise and vote out those who have failed us over the years,” he stated.

The former presidential hopeful lamented the persistent challenges of insecurity, unemployment, inflation, and deteriorating infrastructure, blaming them on leadership failures at different levels of government.

He emphasized that the electorate must reject financial inducements and ethnic or religious sentiments, insisting that competence and integrity should guide voter choices.

Fadojoe further urged Nigerian youths, who constitute the majority of the voting population, to take center stage in the political process by registering, collecting their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), and ensuring active participation in the 2027 polls.

“With our votes, we can end recycled leadership and open the door for a new Nigeria led by visionary men and women who truly care about the people,” he added.
