Omokri Extols Tinubu’s Political Style During Kaduna Visit, Predicts 2027 Victory

Former presidential aide and social commentator, Reno Omokri, has described President Bola Tinubu as a “master of the game” whose political style positions him for re-election in 2027.

Omokri, writing on Saturday under his signature column #TableShaker, reacted to Tinubu’s ongoing visit to Kaduna, where the President interacted warmly with both allies and political rivals.

He said Tinubu’s ability to embrace critics demonstrated emotional intelligence and self-mastery.

According to him, this strategy has won over former adversaries such as Buba Galadima, Senator Ali Ndume, Chief Bode George, and recently, former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido.

“Mr. Lamido approached Asiwaju Tinubu, looking like he did not know what to expect. Immediately, the President put him at ease by cracking a joke with him and then engaging in banter. Before you knew it, Mr. Lamido was blushing,” Omokri wrote.

He compared Tinubu’s approach to the military tactic of “stooping to conquer,” stressing that it remains “brutally effective” in neutralising opposition.

Omokri also contrasted Tinubu’s interactions with those of opposition figures, claiming that leaders like Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso have struggled to manage critics with similar ease.

He added that Tinubu’s “charming personality and charisma” continue to soften political divides, drawing parallels with former U.S. President John F. Kennedy.

Omokri concluded that Tinubu’s instinctive style of leadership makes him “an enigma” and strengthens his chances ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
