Wale Ahmed Praises Tinubu’s Administration for Economic Progress

A member of the House of Representatives representing Agege Federal Constituency, Wale Ahmed, has commended President Bola Tinubu’s administration for steering Nigeria in the right direction.
Ahmed highlighted the administration’s achievements in economic reforms and infrastructure development at a stakeholders’ briefing in Agege.
According to Ahmed, the removal of fuel subsidies, a bold move that previous leaders struggled to implement, has been a game-changer for the country. Ahmed cited notable progress, including foreign reserves surpassing $40 billion and increased foreign direct investment.
Ahmed also mentioned that inflation rates have decreased, and food prices are stabilizing, providing relief to Nigerians struggling with the rising cost of living.
The lawmaker highlighted significant infrastructure projects, such as the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway, which are progressing steadily. These projects aim to enhance connectivity, facilitate economic growth, and stimulate economic activity across multiple states.
Ahmed also defended President Tinubu’s foreign trips, stating they have earned Nigeria more respect globally and attracted foreign investment.
Ahmed reaffirmed his commitment to delivering dividends of democracy to his constituents, including youth empowerment, women’s empowerment, farmers’ empowerment, infrastructure development, and education and healthcare. He expressed confidence in Tinubu’s re-election bid for 2027, citing his effective leadership.
The event drew praise from local leaders and stakeholders, who commended Ahmed’s dedication to serving his constituents.
Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, has also outlined key reforms introduced by President Tinubu’s administration to stabilize the nation’s economy, reduce poverty, and foster sustainable development.
