No Force Can Stop Our Triumph in 2027, Boasts APC Chairman

The National Chairman of the reigning All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has declared the party’s readiness for the 2027 general elections, asserting that no force can impede its victory in securing the presidential, governorship, and other seats throughout the nation.
He articulated this sentiment during an appearance on Jay FM 101.3, located in Jos, the capital of Plateau State.
According to reports, opposition leaders have been devising strategies to prevent President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, in light of what they persistently characterize as his governance failures, marked by the prevailing hunger, poverty, unemployment, and insecurity, among other issues.
However, the Presidency and the ruling APC have consistently dismissed these allegations as baseless and devoid of merit, lauding the administration as exemplary.
Professor Yilwatda asserted that no formidable force could vanquish the APC, elucidating that all opposition parties, including the coalition party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC), are confined to local enclaves scattered across the nation, hindered by narrow-mindedness.
He referenced the recent triumph of the APC in the by-elections conducted in 12 states, predicting a similar fate for the opposition in 2027.
Yilwatda also refuted claims that the APC is steering Nigeria towards a one-party state and causing the internal turmoil afflicting the major opposition parties, asserting that these crises were self-induced.
He described the opposition coalition as lacking resolute and committed leadership, deeming it a “marriage of convenience” destined to disintegrate.
The APC leader noted that unlike previous times when governors resorted to borrowing to pay salaries, President Tinubu’s policies have empowered states to generate substantial funds, maintain salary payments, and adeptly manage governance and project execution, hence the defection of opposition governors to the APC.
