Egyptian Universities Arrive in Nigeria for Educational Fair

A high-powered delegation from Egypt’s top universities has arrived in Nigeria for a major educational event aimed at fostering stronger academic collaboration and innovation.

 

The event, scheduled to run from September 15 to 20, will feature a series of activities designed to promote cross-border knowledge sharing and exchange.

 

The event kicked off at the Hilton Hotel in Abuja and will also be held in Kaduna, Zaria, and Kano, bringing together prominent Egyptian universities, including Cairo University, Ain Shams University, El-Galala University, and Badr University.

 

A representative of the Egyptian delegation expressed appreciation for the warm welcome and the opportunity to engage with Nigerian academics, highlighting the event’s potential to advance educational development in Africa.

 

The Director-General of Nigeria Arabic Village, Professor Ibrahim Muhammad, extended a warm welcome to the delegation, underscoring the long-standing academic relationship between Egypt and Nigeria.

 

He encouraged Nigerian students to take advantage of the opportunity to study in Egypt, praising the country’s academic environment.

 

The Egyptian Ambassador to Nigeria, Mohamed Fouad, officially opened the event, emphasizing the critical role of education in strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.

 

He reaffirmed the embassy’s commitment to promoting educational cooperation and noted the historic ties between Egyptian and Nigerian institutions.

 

The event is expected to yield fruitful outcomes, including potential partnerships, scholarships, and student exchange programs, further cementing the educational bond between Egypt and Nigeria.
