Comedian Woli Agba Escapes Death in Car Fire Incident

Popular Nigerian comedian and gospel performer, Ayo Ajewole, widely known as Woli Agba, has had what he described as a miraculous escape after his vehicle caught fire under unusual circumstances.

The incident occurred after one of the tyres of his car burst while he was travelling to an engagement.

To continue the trip, Woli Agba switched to another vehicle. On arriving at the event venue, he remained inside the replacement car to change clothes when disaster struck — the fuel tank, which was half filled with petrol, suddenly went up in flames.

According to eyewitnesses, despite visible flames, the vehicle did not explode, even with Woli Agba still inside. Attempts to put out the blaze with available fire extinguishers failed, forcing those around to push the burning car away from other parked vehicles to prevent further damage.

In a dramatic twist, an unidentified man appeared on the scene carrying an industrial-sized fire extinguisher. He successfully doused the fire before quietly leaving, without revealing his identity.

Speaking after the incident, the comedian expressed deep gratitude to God, calling his survival a testimony of divine preservation.

“It was petrol burning without explosion,” he recounted, acknowledging how close he came to tragedy.

The incident has since sparked reactions on social media, with fans and colleagues joining him in giving thanks for his safety. Many described his survival as nothing short of a miracle, noting that the outcome could have been fatal.
