President Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Holiday in France

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday evening returned to Abuja after spending part of his annual holiday in France.
The presidential jet touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 6:45 p.m., where he was warmly received by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Wale Edun, among other top officials.
Tinubu had departed Nigeria on September 4, 2025, for France to observe part of his annual leave. Initially expected to split his vacation between France and the United Kingdom, the President eventually concluded the holiday in Paris.
While in France, Tinubu held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace. Both leaders reportedly discussed key aspects of Nigeria–France bilateral relations, including economic cooperation, security, and global stability. They also pledged to deepen strategic partnerships for shared prosperity.
The President’s return comes amid ongoing policy reforms under his administration, particularly in the economy and agriculture, which officials say are aimed at steering Nigeria toward growth and stability.
