I Will Deliver More Democracy Dividends for Osun, Adeleke Assures Supporters

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has reassured residents of his commitment to delivering more democracy dividends if re-elected for a second term in office.

The governor made the pledge on Friday in Osogbo, the state capital, where artisans, traders, and market women under the aegis of the People’s First Movement (PFM) staged a massive rally in support of his re-election bid.

The rally, which took off from major streets in Osogbo before converging at Freedom Park, drew thousands of enthusiastic supporters who chanted solidarity songs and displayed placards expressing confidence in the governor’s leadership.

Addressing the gathering, Governor Adeleke, flanked by his elder sister, Yeye Dupe Adeleke-Sanni, the Chief of Staff, Kazeem Akinleye, and the Secretary to the State Government, Teslim Igbalaye, thanked the people for their unwavering support. He promised that his administration would continue prioritizing policies that improve the welfare of artisans, traders, and ordinary citizens.

“I am deeply touched by this show of love. I assure you that our government is focused on improving livelihoods, creating jobs, and ensuring prosperity for all. With your continued support, Osun will witness more democracy dividends in the coming years,” Adeleke said.

Leaders of the People’s First Movement described Adeleke as a grassroots governor whose policies have impacted the lives of ordinary citizens positively, pledging to mobilize even more support ahead of the next governorship election.

The rally further highlights the growing momentum behind Governor Adeleke’s second-term ambition, with political observers noting the strong show of force by artisans and market associations in the state.
