Gunmen Kidnap Kwara APC Chairman’s Family Members

Gunmen have kidnapped the wife and daughter of Alhaji Muhammad Swasun, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State, on Sunday night, September 7.
The incident occurred at the chairman’s residence in Sakpefu area of Patigi, where a five-man gang of gunmen scaled the compound fence and opened fire indiscriminately to terrify residents.
The victims, identified as Hajiya Fatima, the chairman, wife, and Amina, his daughter, were whisked away to an undisclosed location by the gunmen, who operated for several minutes.
