Strange Deceased Brazilian Magnate Bequeaths £846 Million to Neymar

A Brazilian magnate, previously unacquainted with Neymar, has reportedly bequeathed his entire estate to the celebrated footballer.
The former Barcelona luminary, aged 33, is alleged to have been allocated the staggering sum of £846 million by an anonymous deceased Brazilian billionaire. As reported by the Brazilian outlet RIC, the testament was formalized at an office in Porto Alegre and authenticated on June 12, with two witnesses purportedly in attendance.
The matter now ostensibly awaits ratification by Brazilian courts should Neymar be designated as the heir, potentially chosen due to the benefactor’s status as childless and unattached. Neymar has yet to publicly address the reports concerning this windfall, though the will may encounter legal intricacies even if sanctioned.
The businessman is said to have chosen Neymar as the beneficiary due to a personal affinity, according to local media.
He is reported to hold Neymar’s familial ties in high regard, particularly the player’s bond with his father, Neymar Sr., which evokes memories of his own departed father.
The winger has returned to Brazil, electing to rejoin his childhood club Santos in January after an unsuccessful tenure with the Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Hilal.
During the latter half of the 2024-25 season, he netted three goals in 14 appearances having previously scored 136 goals in 225 matches during his initial tenure at the club from 2009 to 2013.
