President Tinubu Announces Meeting Revenue Target, Boosting Economic Confidence

President Bola Tinubu has declared that his administration has successfully met its revenue target for the year, driven primarily by the non-oil sector.
This announcement was made during a solidarity visit by The Buhari Organization (TBO), led by Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, to the President.
According to President Tinubu, the economy has stabilized, and the government is no longer reliant on domestic borrowing. He emphasized that the administration’s focus is now on creating jobs for Nigerians.
“What we need now is building the ship, bedrooms for export and import to buy goods and create jobs for the people,” he stated.
The President’s remarks suggest a shift in focus towards economic growth and job creation. He also highlighted plans for a significant mechanization program aimed at boosting agricultural productivity and ensuring food security.
In his address, President Tinubu assured his supporters that they should not be intimidated by uncertainty surrounding the 2027 elections.
“Don’t let anybody threaten you with any uncertainty. We are confident that we will succeed,” he said.
Furthermore, President Tinubu promised to reward the loyalty of members of the defunct Congress for Progress Change (CPC) who remained committed to the APC without seeking political appointments.
“I still have some slots available for ambassadorial positions that many people are craving for,” he said.
The Buhari Organization’s visit to President Tinubu reaffirmed their loyalty and support for his administration. The delegation included prominent politicians such as Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas.
The President’s comments indicate a focus on building on the legacies of the late President Muhammadu Buhari and consolidating the APC’s position ahead of the 2027 elections.
