APC Chieftain Agbazuere Predicts Shift in South-East Voting Pattern in 2027

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, Professor Anthony Agbazuere, has predicted that the voting pattern of the South-East geopolitical zone will change in 2027 in favor of President Bola Tinubu.
Agbazuere made this assertion during a stakeholders meeting of APC members from the old Aba political bloc in the state.
According to Agbazuere, President Tinubu’s policies have stabilized the economy and restored hope for the common man.
He cited the removal of fuel subsidy, which has enabled massive development across Nigeria, as a notable achievement. The APC chieftain also commended the president for restoring local government autonomy and introducing the student loan scheme to assist children of poor parents in accessing university education.
Agbazuere urged those nursing the ambition to contest the 2027 presidential election with Tinubu to sheathe their sword and allow him to complete his agenda for the country.
He described Tinubu as a special species of man who has shown exceptional leadership.
The APC chieftain also lauded the president’s modernization of the tax system, which exempts low-income earners from paying tax. He emphasized that Tinubu’s policies have demonstrated a commitment to the welfare of Nigerians, particularly the poor and vulnerable.
Agbazuere’s prediction comes on the heels of the creation of the South-East Development Commission, which he believes has further endeared Tinubu to the people of the zone.
The commission is expected to rebuild the zone from the ruins of the civil war.
The meeting was also addressed by Chief Ebere Nwachukwu, the convener of APC in the Ukwa la Ngwa bloc, who emphasized the need for party members to unite ahead of the party congress in October this year. Nwachukwu added that APC members were working hard to win the 2027 governorship election in Abia State.
