Your PVC, Your Power: Ending Voter Apathy with BAT Ideology Group

The BAT Ideological Group (BIG) has launched a sensitization and orientation program to encourage all Nigerians to register, collect, and use their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). This effort is more than an event it is a call to action.
Too often, Nigerians talk about bad leadership, failed promises, or national challenges, but many fail to connect these realities to the simple act of voting. Voter apathy has weakened our democracy for years, leaving decisions in the hands of a few while millions stay silent. Yet democracy gives every citizen from the age of 18 and above a civil right: the right to choose leaders. That choice only becomes real when you have a PVC.
The ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) by INEC is an opportunity that no Nigerian should miss. The process is already underway:
Online Pre-Registration: August 18 – December 10, 2025
Physical Registration at INEC Centres: August 25 – December 10, 2025
The process is simple. You can log on to cvr.inecnigeria.org to pre-register, transfer your polling unit, or check your details. For new voters or those needing biometric capture, a physical visit to INEC centres will complete the registration. And once your PVC is ready, collecting it is your key to participate in elections.
The BAT Ideological Group’s sensitization aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which is built on empowerment, inclusiveness, and civic responsibility. The group believes that when citizens register and vote, they are not just exercising a right they are securing their own future under a vision of renewed hope.
This program is a reminder that the PVC is not just a card:
It is your power to elect credible leaders.
It is your defense against policies you don’t agree with.
It is your contribution to shaping a better Nigeria.
Every young Nigerian turning 18 today must understand that participation is not optional it is a duty. Your voice counts, but only if it is heard through the ballot. And your ballot only counts if you have your PVC.
The call is simple: Register today. Collect your PVC. Vote when the time comes. Together, we can defeat voter apathy and build the Nigeria we all dream of.
Be Empowered. Get Involved. Secure Your Future with Renewed Hope.
