Anambra Police Arrest Notorious Car Thief, Recover Stolen Vehicles, Exhibits

The Anambra State Police Command has apprehended a 24-year-old vehicle theft suspect, Chidi Nwoye, who was operating a stolen tricycle.
The police operatives, working with local vigilantes, intercepted the suspect along Minaj Road, Obosi, in the early hours of August 22.
The recovered items include a Hyundai Tucson vehicle, a tricycle, eight assorted GSM phones, a face cap, a battle axe, a driver’s license, bunches of keys, master keys, ATM cards, a PVC, a vehicle tracking device, a sensor, a USB drive, an ear pod, and other personal effects.
The suspect confessed to using master keys to steal vehicles and tricycles from parked positions. The police have extended their investigations to the suspect’s hideout to recover additional stolen items and urge members of the public who have recently lost their vehicles to visit the Isiowulu Police Station for possible identification and recovery.
The suspect will face prosecution upon completion of the investigation.
