President Tinubu Mourns Passing of The Nation’s Evelyn Osagie

President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences to the management and staff of The Nation newspaper following the death of Assistant Editor Evelyn Osagie.

 

Osagie, 49, passed away last Sunday after a short illness.

 

In a statement, President Tinubu described Osagie’s death as a significant loss, highlighting her exceptional talent, creativity, and dedication to her work.

 

He noted her outstanding contributions to journalism, particularly in arts and culture reporting, as well as her advocacy for women’s issues.

He acknowledged her distinction in various fields, showcasing her versatility and expertise.

 

President Tinubu prayed for Osagie’s peaceful rest and offered condolences to her family, colleagues, and the management of The Nation newspaper, wishing them strength during this difficult time.
