65-Year-Old Man Arrested with 1,100 Rounds of Ammunition in Anambra

The Anambra State Police Command has apprehended a 65-year-old suspect, Akpan Godwin, in possession of 1,100 live ammunition rounds in Nkpor, near Onitsha.
According to the police, the arrest was made possible through credible intelligence and swift action by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, Akwuzu.
Upon interrogation, Godwin admitted to being involved in the illicit ammunition trade and implicated other individuals connected to the business.
The police have launched an investigation and manhunt to track down and apprehend all those involved in the illegal activity.
