Wike Inaugurates Water Supply Project in FCT

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has flagged off the construction of a water supply project in Abuja. During the event, Wike expressed his admiration for the Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), praising his efforts in delivering development projects to the area.

Notably, Wike stated that he does not know the party affiliation of the AMAC Chairman, but he will support him because he supports President Tinubu. This statement highlights Wike’s commitment to working with individuals who share the President’s vision, regardless of party affiliation.

The FCT Minister emphasized the importance of supporting leaders who can deliver tangible results, rather than those who merely make promises. He commended the AMAC Chairman for his ability to access government funding and deliver projects, citing examples such as Saburi Road, Ketikabusa Road, and Dede Road.

Wike’s endorsement of the AMAC Chairman is seen as a significant development in the FCT, as it underscores the importance of collaboration and support for leaders who can drive progress and development in the area.
