The Command’s spokesperson, DSP Timfon John, disclosed this in a statement issued in Uyo on Wednesday. She said the victims were rescued from a compound in Obio Etoi village, following a formal request for assistance from the Ghana Police Service and INTERPOL.

According to the statement, the operation was carried out around 4:17 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025, after operatives, acting on credible intelligence, surrounded the well-fenced building.
