BAT Ideological Group Pays Condolence Visit to APC Chairman Yilwatda

The BAT Ideological Group has paid a condolence visit to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Yilwatda, at his residential address in Maitama, Abuja following the recent passing of his mother.

Leading the delegation was the group’s Convener, Hon. Bamidele Atoyebi, accompanied by the Secretary, Mr Rotimi Adewale, and Barrister Gabriel Tseyen, the Plateau State coordinator and legal adviser to the movement, who happened to be the Director of Legal Affairs during Yilwatda’s 2023 governorship contest in Plateau State.

The team presented a formal condolence letter to the APC Chairman as a mark of solidarity.

In the letter, the group expressed its heartfelt sympathy, noting that:

“A mother’s love and guidance are irreplaceable, but her legacy of kindness, values, and sacrifices will continue to live on through you and the family she has left behind. As a leader who continues to inspire us with your commitment to the progress of our great party and nation, we stand with you in this difficult period. Our thoughts, prayers, and unwavering support will be constant as you go through this moment of grief. And may Mama’s soul rest in perfect peace.”

Prof. Yilwatda, while receiving the delegation, expressed gratitude for their visit and lauded their continued loyalty to the ideals of the party. He urged them to sustain their activities in fostering party unity and driving development across the country.

The condolence visit also drew the presence of other APC stakeholders and dignitaries, who joined the BAT Ideological Group in consoling the National Chairman and extending their sympathies to his family.
