Okpebholo Applauds Ikpea, Omosede on By-election Triumphs

 

 

 

Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Senator-elect Joe Ikpea and Member-elect Omosede Igbinedion for their triumphs in the recent by-elections for the Edo Central Senatorial seat and the Ovia Federal Constituency.

 

In a statement shared via his X handle, the governor lauded the outcome as a “resounding victory” that underscores the populace’s confidence in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its leadership within the state.

 

Okpebholo also praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for orchestrating a peaceful and credible election process, while encouraging all stakeholders to lend their support to the newly elected lawmakers.

 

The governor’s statement reads: “I extend my congratulations to Senator-elect Joe Ikpea and Member-elect Omosede Igbinedion on their resounding victories in the Edo Central Senatorial and Ovia Federal Constituency by-elections.
