Hon. Bambam Eulogizes Deputy Speaker, Hon. Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, on Her 45th Birthday

Hon. Bamidele Atoyebi has joined family, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers to celebrate the Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, as she marks her 45th birthday.
In his goodwill message made available to Unfiltered Reporting, Hon. Atoyebi described the Deputy Speaker as “a courageous, visionary, and selfless leader whose contributions have continued to shape governance and inspire the younger generation within and beyond Apapa.”
He added: “On behalf of the good people of our constituency, I heartily felicitate with my dear sister, Hon. Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, on the occasion of her 45th birthday. Your journey in public service has been marked by grace, strength, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of our people. May this new chapter be turbulent-free, bring you more wisdom, fulfilment, and greater opportunities to serve humanity.”
He also praised her remarkable service and humility, noting that she has become a shining example of leadership within the Assembly.
“Your humility and wisdom in handling the recent leadership tussle in the Lagos State House of Assembly mean so much to many of us, and we see you as a selfless leader who learnt from the best political leader of all time, which is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He’s known for paying the utmost sacrifice in pushing people to succeed and for the peace of Lagos and Nigeria at large. We won’t forget these great gestures in a hurry.”
Hon. Meranda, who comes from Apapa Constituency 1 alongside Hon. Atoyebi, is a distinguished lawmaker widely admired for her commitment to effective representation, legislative excellence, and grassroots development.
She previously served as the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly and currently holds the position of Deputy Speaker, a testament to her exemplary leadership and dedication to public service.
Earlier today, Hon. Meranda, in a heartfelt post on her official X handle, expressed her gratitude to God and her supporters.
She wrote: “Today, as I celebrate my 45th birthday, my heart overflows with gratitude.
