FEC Pays Tribute to Former Minister Audu Ogbeh

President Bola Tinubu led the Federal Executive Council meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where attendees paid tribute to Chief Audu Ogbeh, a former Minister of Agriculture and PDP National Chairman, who passed away on August 9, 2025, at 78.

Senator George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, described Ogbeh as a dedicated patriot.

The FEC meeting, attended by key officials including Vice President Kashim Shettima, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, began with a moment of silence in honor of the late statesman.

Before the council meeting, President Tinubu swore in members of the Nigeria Law Reforms Commission, emphasizing the importance of their role in advancing the administration’s agenda for legal and institutional reforms. Professor Dakas CJ Dakas was appointed Chairman, and Dr. Uchenna Eugene was appointed Commissioner.
